:D Wesh is of coure a saxon word meaning foriegner -that is a native of britain - as opposed to a hired German mercenary.

A majority of young people leave to work in other countries and we also have large number of old immigrants from the english cities .

in the last census over 30% of the peole of voting age had not been born here

The young Offenders unit in my town was originally built as an Industrial School for Boys.

In the 19thC, boys were taken off the streets of London when caught committing crimes or orphaned. They were taken to the school and taught a trade. Those not clever enough to learn, were sent to Wales to work in agriculture.

Funny that because my grandfather who was born in the workhouse in Cardiff was sent to London to school. Must have been very smart.

That's right Cardiff was not one of the richest places in the UK at the time with the coal industry at full pelt and the first million pound cheque signed in the coal exchange. We were all backwards like the English.

In Wales, the literacy rate rocketed during the 18th century, when Griffith Jones ran a system of circulating schools, with the aim of enabling everyone to read the Bible (in Welsh). It is claimed that, in 1750, Wales had the highest literacy rate of any country in the world

Hang on. You are trying to tell me, that the Welsh had a handle on the worlds literacy rate in the 18th century ?

Yeah right ! Where do you get all this bollocks from ?

Don't tell me- Cennn 3 !

I don't care what you come up with. The fact still remains, that the lads that were too thick to learn a trade in London, were sent to be farm labourers in Wales. I even tried to big it up, by calling them Agricultural workers. :allright

That is North Welsh. I am from Cardiff South Wales so "Shw mae". You should do more research.

Outed!! Interestingly, I DID do that research, although I didn't know I'd be that successful.

Some might think you've been here before under a different name but without a tiny change in style.
