If the bastards i work for pay me the £3500 they owe me , i will be on the next plane to Pattaya, i have two choices

sabai lodge soi 2 for 700 baht per night or eastiny soi 8 1000 baht a night!

i like a drink around the pool and somewhere to sit with my girl, i like a very clean room with new sheets every day, and somewhere villa has not left his skidders and lady boy ass juice on the mattress .....

or have i overlooked an hidden gem of an hotel ?

please has anyone stayed at these and which is recommended ?

Try Pattaya Bay Resort - http://pattayabayresort.com/Rates.aspx - If you stay 6 nights, you get 1 night free for a standard room at 999 baht per night and includes breakfast. Close to everything, but in a quiet area. Very clean and a nice pool.

Have stayed in Sabai Lodge but only in the Sabai Wing part of the hotel. IMO it is a very good hotel, And it's got a nice pool area, and plenty of sitting area around the pool. And yes the rooms are cleaned every day, sheets included. If you give a small tip to the cleaning lady and give her instructions as to new sheets, extra towels etc, it gets done.
