I couldn't open any pages on this site dealing with rooms and price.

You can't find prices on the website. You can see them on Agoda or write to them directly. I won't stay there at the beginning of the trip, but will take a look during the first few days and maybe switch..

The charge listed on Agoda is exclusive of certain costs, so there is no way to know what you are actually paying. There is no location given for this place, and no information about whether there is free wi fi. Looks like a crap shoot if you book IMHO.

You can get a Superior for 926 Baht per night, which includes ALL costs. There is a location on the map and wi-fi is free in the lobby, but 100 Baht per day in the room. Most information is on Agoda, but some info you can find out directly by emailing them.

Pretty crappy website with limited information. Kinda a pain to email a hotel for their rate. If anyone is on friendly terms with them, give them a kick in the pants to improve their website. There are plenty of off the shelf hotel booking packages which can be had for a modest price.

That is one of the funniest things I have ever heard! 2guns :D :rotflmao :rotflmao

I guess it was a pain to post a message on this board....

Yeah, it is a pain to email a hotel for the rates when they have a website advertising the place and when so many of their competitors have their prices listed. Consumers want to know things and they want to know them now. Not overnight, not in a few hours... But now. That is why I said it was a pain.

Also it seems like poor planning to me. Make a website, throw up a map, a few pics and not announce your prices... How much pain would it have caused them to include that information.

And with many Thai places you can wait what seems like forever for them to reply. If I email someone wanting a published price for something, not a discount or a special, then I really expect that email to be monitored permanently in an upmarket place and certainly all day during extended business hours in other places. To not monitor your internet booking system and emails is just stupid.

I have to agree 100%

If I go to a hotel website and the info is limited (no prices being an example) I quickly move on to the next one. IMHO putting up a crappy website is worse than not having a website.

Only on my first trip to Pattaya did I book a room on the hotel website. I quickly learned, because I was staying for 3 weeks or more, to talk directly to the manager and always got a very good discount. I would do this either on the trip prior or once I arrived. On follow on trips I would email the manager directly and ask for the same rate as the last time.
