hi folks

just wondered if any one has managed to get a discount, booking in advance, at the Areca.

i've stayed there a couple of times, once booking with them, and once via AtSiam.com, and like the location and easy going attitude of the place.

Atthe moment the Coruna Wing is 1400 with Areca, and 1210 with Atsiam, possibly less with AtSiam as last night they gave a small discount for the 3 week stay.

Only drawback with AtSiam was that they wanted the cash upfront, as i will probably go for 4 weeks its a load of cash and obviously that knocks any fexibility on the head.

:D

I looked into this when I booked my hotel.

The price I got from the web (cash up-front) was about 200 bt per night better than from the hotel :nod

When I contacted the hotel and told them I could get a better price they said "go for it" :D

I chose a different hotel :D

Be Nice

Stayed at Areca many times, booking through AtSiam. And they have always been cheaper than the hotel direct rates. Usually by about 200Bht. Nearly booked with agoda once... then I found they charge tax on top per night. Agoda are not the cheapest site out there

If I have an early return flight 01:30 I alwats book my room for one extra night. It save pratting around getting cahnged in the hotel toilets before my taxi arrives.

I have been quoted 1400Bht per night in the new Evergreen wing for April (Std room)

The evergreen wing is now open at the Areca 1400 bht. They do not have monthly rates for the Evergreen but you can ask for one at the Corona and Areca wings thou. 21 nights or more

Andy, I couldn't get them to go any lower than 1690 at the front desk from now until Feb 15th. Even atsiam has the cheapest rate at Evergreen being 1640 right now. Were you able to get the 1400 at some other site? Thanks!

Normally I would be at the Areca, but for a change I have booked in at Sunshine Resience on soi8. Agoda was the most expensive I think. Then Atsiam (I booked throu them, as I use them everytime) but Hotels2Thailand came out to be the cheapest.

15.000 Bht for 21 days. The deal going is pay for 15 nights get 6 free. Works out at about 800Bht a night.

First time in this hotel, some building working in the next hotel but I don't mind "BANGING"
