baboona beach hotel or citin loft

stayed at citin loft hotel very nice,, if a little out the way but think i prefer this !. only complaint is getting stitched up with the mini bar tab. On trip advisor baboona hotel on beach road gets very good reviews any experiences here or better recommendations ?

For future reference, no matter where you stay ALWAYS tell the reception on arrival to EMPTY this nOObie trap and stock it yourself from the 7/11!

I haven't stayed there, but I and my lady eat at restaurant at the front. Decent value for money and a short walk from the condo.

 

If the appearance of the lobby is an indication, it seems to be very nice. Great location on Beach Rd. just north of Soi 4. It obviously is popular as we see tourists entering as we eat.

 

Don't know the cost.

How was the internet or do they have internet in Citin loft ( in rooms ) ?

 

I stayed at Citin loft in Hua Hin 2 weeks ago internet was very slow

they have internet in main reception, 2 pcs seemed ok. not sure about wifi in rooms

Had a look around Citin Loft,really nice rooms,but swimming pool at front under awning,and too out of way for me.Baboona has great location,haven't seen the rooms,no swimming pool and wouldn't be quiet right on Beach Road,so depends what you are looking for.

I would go for BJ Lodge round corner in Soi 3,or Summer Spring in Soi 1,both have nice pools and fairly quiet locations,and rooms around 1000 this time of year.

the room i had at citin loft was magnificent, no complaints whatsoever. put it this way every girl i brought back stayed the whole night even the go go dancers. i would only ever have to pay st because i knew they were going to stay lt anyway ! they will try to rip you off with the minibar at the end though as they have done it with most !. when i complained i had 2 drinks which they charging me 800 baht for (they said i had 9) .

I stayed in baboona 2 years ago when I was visiting, room was excellent, mini bar was free except vodka and whiskey! The only complaint I had was although I could access the net it was just to slow to make calls with skype!

 

I would be happy to stay at baboona infact since I stayed there I have only been back to LOS 2 times both times I tried booking baboona but it was full both times:(
