Visa answer for no particular question

Having worried about visa questions and posted questions in the past and heard all about 60 day stays and double entries and visa runs et al...

 

My 12 week holiday stay in LOS in July:

 

Applied for Non immigrant type 'O' visa on Monday (fill in form, supply passport, 2 passport size photos, copy of air ticket, $90) to consulate office.

 

Picked up passport with 90 day visa stamp yesterday.

12 weeks you lucky bastard, good on ya.

 

I get my long service leave next month (13 weeks) but I can't take an extended vacation yet as this missus still only gets 4 weeks a year. Boohoo!!! not bloody fair.

Yep. I got mine in Melbourne last October. I got 60 day dual entry for no charge, cos I was doing a side trip after that anyway. Staff there couldn't have been more helpful, I got the feeling I could have just about any type of visa I wanted with no complications.
