Snap!

I remember 4 years, maybe 5 years ago getting cought down soi 6/1 with a lass I used to see. We were soaked from the bar and the water fights and the heavens opened, the rain was uttering bouncing off the streets as it does. The girl rufused to leave as she would get wet :chogdee :newbie

After 5 mins she was shacking like a dildo with new batteries she was that cold. Pissed with rain a couple of times that songkran actually.

Yes, but you said season, not rain. By your now flailing back-peddling approach it is rainy season all year.... :D

Not at all? It rains more in April through to October for me and tourists that is VERY IMPORTANT and as far as I am concerned any period of heavier rain worthwhile knowing about? Or would you rather just tell the guy that it rains only in rainy season? Granted I probably used the wrong words so what?

Would you rather tha guy coming out in say May and getting hammered with rain?

Yes, like for example, if you're in Thailand, and your references are the Thai people and Thai statistics and the

Thai Meteorological Department, then the rainy season in Pattaya doesn't start in March.

It's just the way it is. Even though it sometimes rains more in April than in September in Central and/or East Thailand, April isn't the rainy season and September is. April is the hot season.

Another example: It might snow a blizzard and hit 20 below zero in Maine in October, but it's still autumn, not winter.

.

Hoe Licker I can't be arsed with your shite.

Here to save you clicking the link:

The rainy season in Thailand varies from region to region and is largely dominated by the monsoon.

But just incase you want to

There ya go add it to your oracle of useless facts, at least one part of it may be right rather than trying to understand that shite you posted :D

Granted I probably used the wrong words so what?

Probably, yes agreed, in the above quote 'probably' is redundant.

As to 'using the wrong words', well of course in can be important and is hardly a so what.

Let me help... rainy season in the Pattaya area is defined as June to October, starting sooner and lasting a little later in the South.

Evening downpours can occur during the hot season, March-May. :D

Getting there. Drop the "largely", it's redundant. Also, it's unnecessary and not needed.

But you do show why it was so important for me to say "Pattaya", which I did. You seem the only one writing about other regions, and you're not wrong about it, just lonely.

You just keep counting you baht and head off to New Plaza. I opt to live where I live for the benefit of education for my family. Not quite sure where Mike Tyson comes into it but I will just put that down to an age thing?

I will advise the official website that was cut and paste from just for you  They obviously have never met Hoe Choker :rotflmao God help them, the walking oracle on Thailand is about to browse your official pages relating to Thailand. They will probably shut up shop!

Ooooh, it's an official website is it? Well, that IS impressive, not many of those to the kilo, eh? In that case, kindly inform the official website's official chief editor he has a lousy official writer and a lazy official sub-editor working for him/her. Officialy, I presume. Thanks in advance.

New Plaza... where is that? I don't think I have ever been, so it exhibits how much of what is on the board you absorb.

I mentioned Mike Tyson because I wished I was as tough as him, as you wished you were as smart as me. Flattering by the way.... even if you forgot you wrote it so quickly.

As Joe says you seem to take things too seriously, perhaps too much red meat in your diet......

Regarding this rainy season thing, ready to admit you dug yourself into a hole, or that I tore you a new one? :banghead

The link you provided says:

"Very broadly speaking, Thailand's rainy season can be classified as May/June to October. For most of Thailand, the wettest months are usually August-October."

Nothing about March and April being part of the rainy season.

Thailand has a tropical climate, thus it can rain at any time, but the "rainy season" does not begin in March and April.
