Jade House & Kinarree!

I have never been to Jade or Kinarree, but the posts on the Forums make both sound alluring.

 

However, for my upcoming trip, I shall be residing quite near Soi6, & currently figure to spend every afternoon there. (I know, never plan about Pattaya!)

 

My questions are: What could I find @ Jade or Kinarree that I couldn't find on convenient Soi6? Is it likely that most motorbike taxi drivers know the locations of these places?

The primary attraction of both Jade and Kinarree is that they are out of the way, and in residential neighborhoods. Many expats with wives or liveins go there to avoid being seen in such a public place as Soi 6.

 

They are not really competing with Soi 6 in quality, quantity or intensity.

 

They serve a purpose, but as a place to go for an unattached male monger, they really wouldn't be all that exciting, except just to say you've been there.

 

This is not to say that they don't have nice looking girls or decent rooms, it's just saying that they wouldn't hold a candle to Soi 6 if you were just interested in seeing a large selection. Neither of them have more than a few dozen girls working at one time. Compare that to Soi 6 which has hundreds.

The previous posters are not quite hitting the nail on the head because Jade and Kinarree DO have distinctive features which set them apart from other establishments/areas.

 

For example Jade House has a barbecue (or used to) on one day of the week which was a big attraction and also it had a reputation for being a place where bar girls visited before they started their shift.

 

Holds out the possibility of getting the girls fairly fresh even if they are not exactly farm fresh.

One could argue that Kinaree offers more of a relaxed and refined setting than many Soi 6 bars.

 

Plus it's only a five-minute stroll from my hotel of choice. The perfect lunch buffet venue for some!
