Telescopes

I've seen those nice looking telescopes for sale at Carrefore but they're looking for silly money. I often check out cash convertors for 2nd hand ones but no joy.

Does anyone know where I can get one without breaking the bank?

I have a 20x - 60x zoom telescope made by Jiehle complete with tripod and carrying bag, in excellent condition. Cost me 9500 Baht new, I don't use it much and would part with it for 4000 or near offer. PM me if you'd like to see it.

Well for a start, from Jomtien you can see if there are any decent Russian birds on the beach on Koh Larn.
