Etihad sale

For anyone fancying a trip to Patts before Xmas,Etihad have decent prices at the moment.I fly from Manchester and flying out mid Nov,back 9th Dec comes in at £477 with Netflights and £485 direct with Etihad.They now fly twice daily so maybe looking to fill planes.Those are good prices for time of year and good carrier,decent connecting times too.

I have flown with Etihad this year already and wasn't overly impressed to say the least, but thought at 484 pounds from Manchester I could manage to live with them again for that price.

 

My travel dates are 25th November out return 14th December from UK, as I processed through the booking when it came to seat selection (which was before payment) I could only select one of three legs from AUH to BKK no other legs were available for seat selection. Not sure if this is just a glitch in their website, or they have oversold the aircraft in Y due to the sale. Anyway gave me cold feet, I cannot afford to get bumped either way.

 

Ended up booking with Qatar from LHR for 594 pounds, which was still over 100 quid cheaper than Emirates for my dates. First time on Qatar for myself, normally always an Emirates man myself, but getting too expensive these days.

 

Anyway just a heads up for anybody thinking about taking advantage of Etihad's offer.
