Not my favorite cousine, too much spiced for my taste, but in Pattaya I have tried different place as most famous Alì Babà and Dilli Haat, but at last mine favorite is the Tandoori House, located on Second Road next to Italian restaurant Perbacco.

Papadum, Chicken tandoori, lemon rice, garlic bread and water, about 400 THB

Tikka Centre place on Soi buakhao (opposite soi Honey inn) does great British type curries. Can recommend the Lamb Vindaloo and Chicken Tikka Marsala. Reasonable prices about 150 baht. Crazy Dave's on

I think Layla's on Soi 16 Walking Street is very good. Unfortunately (for some), it's not English curry...it's actually authentic Indian curry.   A map at this link shows it's location...   http:/

Mate of mine recommended The Stone Oven’s (corner soi 6 and Beach road) Indian menu to me last trip. And he was spot on. Well he should know he’s a Brummy.   Really good tasty food good price and

Tikka Centre is still awesome great food, bit of a wait tho about 45 mins i recommend drinking at the bar across the street and have them bring the food over, tikka and the bar don't mind.

i was there may 4th 2012

Good idea, I'll try that in Dec. It's my favourite eating place in Patts but the Indian TV they have on is pants!

great bunch of guys there to plenty of converstaion to be had!

The Penang Curry from there is excellent but the other curries are simply microwaved meals and very bland.

I've been making my own curries lately and even Chicken Tikka Masala, maybe you could try your hand if you've got a kitchen. I love the fact that Residence Garden has full kitchens. If you get a LT GF experience maybe you can have her make some red curry in the room. Thai curries are right up there as far as tasty goes.
