Continental and United are merging their ff programs. Right now it's giving 40,000 ff miles. Add the miles you'll make on this trip, and your next will be free. $95 fee is waived for first year. They may waive it after that; if not cancel. I think there is some sort of baggage allowance. You should also check out flyertalk.com - there may be a better deal going.

 

 

Almost... in order to get the rull 40K miles, you must spend $25K in purchases within the first year. Easy for some... more difficult for others...
