I guess the darn phone isn't meant to be dropped multiple times or maybe it's because of the bit of moisture I've seen under the screen in the past. how people handle LOS storms and keep phones undamaged is beyond me.

Whatever it is, I think my old 3gs (3.1 version) is the cause of all the static during conversations. The area around the charging connection is destroyed from all the drops.

I'd like to get it repaired. It's unlocked and jailbroken. An Apple authorized place won't or I should say isn't allowed to repair it.

I had a speaker problem a few months ago and the speaker was replaced but then the static issue seemed to spring up. It could be something as simple as a wire crimped when the case was closed.

I don't know if it's cause and effect or not. I had the speaker work done in Tuccom by The Phone Company on the first floor where the escalators take you. The speaker was replaced for Bt. 800. The same company located on the third floor of Fiesta Mall wanted bt.1800 for the same speaker replacement. Both times the TG took the phone in alone to get the price estimate.

Can anyone recommend a place for iPhone repair in Pattaya?
