Software in Pattaya

Hi,

I have been living and working near Pattaya for 7 months, and I can remember the cheap ( copied )software for sale every where. is this still going on, with other words is it possible to go in a shop and choose your things ? Quality ? Police actions ? Prices ?

Its getting harder to find but Software Station, Second Rd, right hand side just before Royal Garden still has plenty of choices at 200 baht a disk.

Try Second Rd 30-50 metres up from South Pattaya Rd...there is a software shop...go thru the shop...out the back door...across the alley is a blue door (no signs)...plenty of software, DVD's etc...

Yep brought DVD's, software and PLaystation software from there. Good quality in general and well worth a look.

I bought about 20 DVDs and 5 software programs there.  About half of the DVDs were useless, poor quality, or stopped midway through the program.  4 out of 5 software programs worked fine and were worth the cost of the whole deal.

 

It's a classic "let the buyer beware situation".
