looking for reliable driver with a van or a car

I sometimes play golf in bkk and pattaya and am looking for a reliable driver with a van (preferred) or a car - BKK or Pattaya based.

 

Van is required when I have friends visiting and we need a transportation for 4 with bags. Otherwise, I need a car when playing alone ...

 

A golf outing in BKK is about 6 hours (or more depending on traffic) and a golf outing in Pattaya would be overnight unless I can find a Pattaya based driver. If I have good driver, then I will start traveling to Khao Yai and other areas to play .. or just to travel around the kingdom.

 

I would be interested in daily rate, weekly rate and monthly rate for a driver with a car or a van.

 

I am a foreigner with minimal Thai speaking ability.

On my recent return from Pattaya 10 days ago, someone recommended the following Taxi service to me, and I found them great.

The driver had a relatively new Toyota, spoke good English and told me that he was often hired by the day, and sometimes for a week at a time.

The office seemed well organised, and all the arrangements worked well.

The name of the firm is :-  "Mr.T" and they can be found 2/3 of the way up Soi Diana Inn, on the left hand side as you head inland from 2nd Road.

Could you give us some indication of costs? What do you think he would charge for a day's hire?

I too am intersted in this subject.

 

Although I have been to Pattaya a couple of times I did not golf. On my next visit I would like to do some golfing but I dont know much about the cost of arranging transport to and from the courses. I plan to stay in Pattaya mostly.

 

Any advice on the transport cosst would be appreciated.
