i saw people selling dvd on the street in pattaya , i was wondering what the quality is like and what reqion they are set for.

usually all region and quallity varies. if the film is just out at cinema, then they are obviously copies. but they are probably the best copies around. i got a shit load in sept, american pie 2, planet of the apes and they were ok. i got a few others at mbk, deuce bigalow, pitch black and they were origional dvds, region 0 and about 200 bht each

If you are used to having all the features on the DVD, you might not get them all when purchasing these copies.  I purchased some in MBK and found that much of the features were not available.

Make sure you have a DVD player that is NALS/PTLS compatible. I think thats the Terms!I as well was just there and bought a shit load of DVDs. Black Hawk Down and others still in US theaters. No problems with Customs in the US. Just make sure you have the right DVD player. For 4 US dollars each you can't go wrong!!sell em when you get back wherever for 20...pays for your trip in no time.
