Clinic Bar Hotel

I've been looking for a place to stay long term and I've been recommended this place on Soi Yamato.

A friend told me that the sports bar itself is 'straight' with some lovely ladies working there but the guest house caters for those who 'bat for the other side' and enjoy ladies of the third gender.

Does anyone have any up to date news on this place ?

Roland,it has a large screen T V but i would not class it as a sports bar,it has a very nice and comfortable interior and a few cute service girls,the manager/owner seemed a bit run down the times i was there and not very helpful to say the least.

Its a very comfortable place to go and chill out, but do not expect much in the way of excitment.

I do not know about the rooms or the sexuality of the guys who frequent them,but i will certainly go back and have a drink or two when i want a  hour or two to relax.

I believe that the Rising Sun more or less opposite, is where the purveyors of the third category type (especially the lower budget ones), normally choose to stay; if that is your bag !

I've known Derek, the owner of the Clinic bar, for yonks.

 

Once a month he mails out e-newsletters to his mates/regulars.   A couple of months ago one of his newsletters stated in big bold letters, that the clinic bar did not cater for poofs.

 

I suppose he must have had one staying there and gave the bar a bad name.

Derek is the Irishman.  Gay?  I've not heard that before.  ???

 

He did have a partner but he has since left.  I don't know why he went.   I'll ask Derek when i'm there in nov.
