Tims beer bar/hotel

Has anyone recently stayed at Tims beer bar rooms? I have read the hotel reviews and some trip reports but I'd like an up to date review as I may be staying there come Sept27th. I also have seen their website. A personal description and/or a straight forward opinion would be greatly appreciated.

I'm on his case almost every day.  I know there are some things that he's held back even from me.  I give him a lot of leeway.  He's older and slower but he always gets the job done.

stayed there for 3 weeks last month...one of the better deals in town....beer bar outside, go-go inside and about 20 rooms upstairs.....with jacuzzi 650-750 and without 350-450....great service....friendly staff and no hassles.

 

i stayed in a BIG room...with jacuzzi....talked em down from 750 to 700 per night....bigt room, fridge, good A/C with a fan...2 in-room safes and a separate bathroom shower.  only drawbacks....no phone in room (could be a good thing) and no restaurant...but Lek hotel right across street has buffet breakfast for 85 baht and Kiss is right down the street.

 

no credit card...have to pay cash...since it is a bar first and hotel second.  laundry is returned daily....if you get it to by 1300 they will have it back by 1700.....stayed there 3 times now and will definitely go back...god place

Excellent for the money!

Stayed there recently and was very pleased. Rooms are basic but everything you need..including mirrored ceiling!

Staff are cool and no problems. Nice side entrance to go to or from to avoid the gogo, and no noise as such from the gogo that I noticed  :)

They almost never read their e-mail. I have talked to "mama-Tim" about this, snd she sais she has no time. Too much farangs that send e-mail for the ladies she sais.

 

If you stay at the hotel, you have a good deal. But i recommend that you never take the girls from their own gogo bar. Find your ladies somwhere else to avoid jelousy.

    There is another good reason to avoid the ladies at the Tim's Go-Go.  They have a "meeting" every week where they are taught how to squeeze the farang as much as possible for baht.  I had a great gal from there on one trip who was new.  Next trip she really treated me like an ATM.  I dumped her.  Damned shame.  Second best boobs in Pattaya.  A VERY  attractive gal.   Roy

I'll be staying in one of Tim's rooms from Sunday . I have been in contact about the room by e-mail and I have always got a prompt , polite , well written reply . If it is an enquiry related to accommodation I would suggest that you type 'Reservation Enquiry' as the subject of your e-mail - it has always worked for me . Also , as someone else has said , you are better using your ISP e-mail address rather than a hotmail/yahoo type one .

I'm staying in room A7 now & it is really huge . There are 2 in room safes , 1 electronic , 1 padlocked (bring your own lock ) , a huge bed , a 3-piece suite & a 4 person jacuzzi in the corner of the bedroom as well as a bathroom with a large shower . So if you like to party this is the place to stay . This seems to be the biggest room & the best furnished . The only gripe I have is the noise from 2nd road but I'll get used to it - they also have rooms at the back away from the road . I can't understand why the place is empty - I think I'm the only guest on my floor . At only 750 b per night this place cannot be beaten for value .

The rooms sounds great, as I understand you the jacuzzi is IN the bedroom right ?! [smiley=grin.gif] and not not in the bathroom...

The jacuzzi is in the bathroom. At least it was in the room I used for a short time.... Very large room, and huge bed....

Jacuzzi placement depends on room.  I was in A2 and it was in main room.  other rooms had it in bathroom

I know this will sound crazy & I'm expecting to get  abuse but there's a ghost in room A7   . Every night I have been having bad dreams ( no, I haven't been drinking a lot ) and I've been waking up , aware of a presence in the room . On Thur night I half woke up & said "What" . My TG asked me if I'd seen the ghost . She can see ghosts & had been aware of it already but hadn't said anything . She has a little Buddah she keeps under her pillow to protect her from ghosts & on Friday night she put it under my pillow . I slept great but when I went to the toilet during the night she saw the ghost sitting on the sofa & it spoke to her :D ! Last night she kneeled on the bed & prayed for about 10 minutes & we both had a great nights sleep . We were going to change rooms today but we might chance 1 more night . She's gone off now with gifts for buddah & to say a few more prayers .

 

I had a look at a few rooms today & room A1 looks like a good one , nearly as big as A7 , at the back so quieter but the Jacuzzi is in the bathroom .
