High speed internet in rooms

Hi all,

I will be in Pattaya in early November and was wondering if there are any hotels with in-room High speed internet. I will be there for 3 weeks and I make my living from the internet (it would be nice to be able to get some work done in the afternoons). And I will be arriving at midnight, would it be better to get a ride into Pattaya (if there is anything running at that hour) or stay one night in BKK. This will be my first time there and I dont speak the language Any help would be appreciated.

Don't know about Ptty but the Conrad in BKK has high speed but comes at a price, 640 baht per day.

In Pattaya I have yet not come across a Hotel with Broadband. In case you do, please post it here, as I) am in a similar Situation. This year I used Dial In or went to the Internet Cafe at the Sunshine Hotel (where I stayed) and connected there with my Notebook. (60 Satang / minute).

In Bangkok I can suggest the President Group Services Apartments, Grand President has in Room DSL 128 for about 200 Bt / day, worked quite well for me. But I don't like the rooms so much. President Solitaire, it is a great upmarket Serviced Apartment on Soi 11 a little more away from Suikhumvit, the roms are marvelous, you get a studio for about 2700 a night if you stay for more than 1 Week, it is guestfriendly, and they have Wireless Internet as well as Network Jacks. Worked great for me!
