If you're set on a 'condo', I'd recommend the Markland--You're close to everything bars, Big C, etc. Yes, more expensive then you mentioned--14k B or so--they're worth it.

Check Pattaya Mail's on-line classifieds for contacts.

You should always have a look at condo before you rent it.  Condos are not like hotels.  Hotel rooms are all furnished the same and as a consequence are predictable so you can rent over the internet or by phone.  Condos are different in that each condo is furnished by the individual owner.  If the owner has good taste and isn't a penny-pincher it may be furnished nicely. If the owner is just trying to get by as cheaply as possible, the furnichings can be a bit grim.  Best thing to do it get into town, stay at a hotel, and check out the condos in person.  There are a great many available.  Check the Pattaya Mail newspaper, or walk into a real estate office.    Roy

You have also got to consider that the bed linen is not changed daily at a condo may 2 to 3 times a week were as it is in a Hotel. Some thing to think about.

Hi Eddie,

If you are only staying for 2 months is a condo worth it.

I have just stayed at a very good hotel for 46 days in Pattaya. It had 6ft beds (not two joined), good a/c and fan, T.V. and D.V.D. player, free D.V.D's from bar,  maid service every day, i.e. sheets and towels changed, tea and coffee (replenished every day), and room cleaned, in room safe, security guard at night and very pleasent staff. It is only 2mins. walk from the beach near Central road. This cost me 24,000B. if you rent a condo you might have to pay for  electricity, water and maid charges, is it worth the hassle.

If you want further detailes e-mail me.

Cheers Doolish
