North pattaya - Hotel Vista or Discovery Beach?

I like to stay in North Pattaya but prefer something a little more comfortable than the Sabai group these days. In recent years i have found a happy home at Baboona Beach front living but have recently read that they have now introduced a joiner fee. I'm considering between Hotel Vista and Discovery Beach. Both are rated as four star and both have reasonable rates on agoda and both appear to be guest friendly as long as you book a Double room.

 

Experiences of board members at either or both of these hotels would be very much appreciated.

My girlfriend worked for a while at Discovery beach hotel , I've had a look round it looks a very nice hotel ,with a lovely pool

 

I've never stayed there though , I agree about the sabai group the beds could be more comfortable.

Never stayed at the hotel Vista before so I can't comment, but have stayed twice at the Discovery beach hotel. Below is a hotel review and photos that I did about a year ago.
