2013 RideHer Cup: Europe vs USA. Pattaya 6 & 8 November

 

The 12th Solar Golf RideHer Cup competition will take place at St. Andrews 2000 (4 ball and Scramble) on Wednesday 6th November and Burapha Golf Club (singles) on Friday 8th November. This historic event sees USA with 6 victories to Europe 4 with 1 draw. Europe really need to catch up this year. We are delighted to announce that Secrets are the 2013 event sponsor and will host the party on Friday 8th November. I would like to say a big personal thank you to FLB Bar and, in particular, Martin and Moulie for hosting and sponsoring the event in previous years. We have changed sponsor this year with Martin's full support and understanding and I hope that many of the players will visit FLB and have a few drinks there.

 

Programme

 

Sunday 3rd November – Registration evening at Secrets. You can register and pay between 8pm and 10pm.

 

Monday 4th November – Practice round at Burapha. Tee time 10.30. Transport will start hotel pick ups at 0900.

 

Wednesday 6th November – RideHer Cup Day One at St. Andrews 2000. 1 tee start at 10.27 am. 9 holes four ball and 9 holes Texas scramble – 2 player teams.

 

Friday 8th November – Ryder Cup Day Two at Burapha. 2 way start at 10.30am. 18 holes singles competition played in groups of 4. 2 x 9 holes matches will be played with the opponents switching after 9 holes.

A celebration party will take place at Burapha Golf Club right after the golf with a pig roast and poolside buffet. We will lay on a barrel of beer and lots of food around 17.00 when everyone has showered and changed. The trophy presentation will take place at Secrets later in the evening and will continue long into the night.

 

Cost per player 6,900 baht includes 2 green fees caddy fees and carts, team polo shirt, transport between central pattaya and golf course, buffet with soft drinks and beer at Burapha Golf Club,

 

To enter the event, please email admin@solargolf.co.uk or call 0836 184449 and let us know your shirt size, handicap and nationality. “Neutrals” will be allocated to teams to even up the numbers. The event is limited to 48 players so please register early. We will have a wait list in case of cancellations or no shows.
