it is around 20.00 usd hr. For 720 usd r/t with 9-13 hour layover may try it.

:stick: that is PEK China Air (mainland) star alliance. that price is from iah July to august

The topic is about Air China nothing to do with China Airlines, if you flown both why didn't you make your comment about China Air.
