Looking at fares from Toronto to BKK and I was seeing about 1800 Canadian...  

 

JUST for curiosity... I searched for flights out of New York...  890 Canadian...  added with a 400 dollar flight from my home town...  is STILL Cheaper...

 

WHY you may ask...  Simple...

 

I get SCREWED by Air Canada...

 

Ta Hell with the health plans... GIVE ME CHEAPER FLIGHTS TO PARADISE....

How true - check out the price of Cathay Pacific's flights from LA versus the flights from Vancouver - much cheaper!! It isn't just Air Canada that screws us.

An elderly friend who lives north of Vancouver always travels to Thailand via Europe. He says it is no more expensive and you get a lot more FF miles.
