Austrian airlines

Recommended Posts

Travelled to Pattaya (via BKK) with Austrian (lauda) Airlines. I would never travel with this airline again. The service and food was rubbish. My flight was fron Manchester to Ven. to Bkk. It ended up Man.,to Heathrow, to Fran. to Ven. to Bkk. The fair was £501. But I enjoyed my 8 weeks in Pattaya [smiley=grins-jump.gif]

Being an Austrian, I almost fully agree. I usually travel EVA Air, as they also have a direct Connection VIE - BKG.

On Lauda I think the food is usually ok, but the seats (in Economy, I rule out Business as the prices are just above what I am willing to pay) are the most crammed of all Airlines I've flewn (and this includes a lot of American ones)

Sunny (Has just made his booking on Eva Air Evergreen Deluxe for December ....)

doolish,

The seat configuration is worth noting if flying MAN-BKK with Emirates as well.  They are regularly replacing the scheduled airbus with a high-density 777 (10 abreast) for the MAN-DXB leg (DXB-BKK is already a 777).  Even BA dropped that seat configuration from its Caribbean flights some time ago.
