Royal Brunei Airlines

Recommended Posts

I am in the process of booking another ticket through Royal Brunei Airlines. I have just noticed that they now have a limited sort of 'frequent flyers club'.

It may have been there before but I have not noticed it. I usually travel with them from Australia.

What I am asking is for maybe a little help.

My Thai defacto of 3 years is just in Australia only 4 weeks but now has her son in hospital after being knocked off his bicycle and has 3 protruding ribs among other less serious injuries. She is flying out on the next available flight on Tuesday.

This is not a dying buffalo trick as I have spoken with the hospital where he is and the doctors a couple of times a day.

Sa obviously is on the way home to look after her son.

What I am asking is if anyone has or has travelled with Royal Brunei Airlines within the last month they can get some frequent flyer points.

If they do not need these points and they will not be any good to the one who has them they are able to transfer them. I ask consideration that they may be transferred to her to travel back in an expected time of 6 weeks.

I do have some from this ticket but as a retired war veteran I cannot cover another fare for her to come back here in such a short time so I thought there may be some frequent flyer points with Royal Brunei going to waste.

As a long time frequenter of the FLB I can arrange to credit you some drinks for your generosity. Pete does know me and I hope he does not mind me using him as a type of reference.

Anyhow if anyone can help with this I would be appreciative and you can reply to me at jetson1000@hotmail.com

Happy times to all.

Thanks John,

Where do you usually fly from?

When is your next trip? Things are still up in the air here at the moment.

If Sa cannot make it back I should make it to Thailand in about 3 months.

regards

Jetson

Sorry,

Can't help you - I regularly fly RBa from Brisbane and didn't know they had the frequent flyers club. At the moment they are doing a special of $909 BKK return. Hope it can help

The best fare I can find at the moment is BNE - BKK return for $849. Flight Centre.

They usually include tax in that but usually only have a 35 day validity.

That may be suitable for some.
