Extended Flights

hi  there

can  anyone  tell  me  if  its  possible  to

extend return  flight time

im  flying  Biman  air

only  booked  for  2  weeks  but  would  like to

stay  an  extra  week

would  i  enquire at  one  of  the  many  travel  shops  in  pattaya

any help  welcomed

I'm not sure about 'Biman Air', but last Christmas I extended my return with Northwest. I had to wait until after the flight over to change reservations direct with the airline and pay the $75 fee at the airport in BKK when getting my boarding pass.

 

I think you need to check with the airline and the restrictions on your ticket.

There is no hard and fast rule; it depends on the airline, the booking class of the ticket you are holding and the restrictions applied to that particular class (class refers to the Y, L, M, H etc class that appears on your ticket).  The agent that you booked with in UK will be able to provide you with that information.  Any changes that do not attract a charge will normally be restricted to those made after the date of your outbound travel.  You can make any changes allowed simply by calling the Biman office in Bangkok once you are in LOS.

Hey cheshire tom

 

just contacted  my  agent and  found  my ticket  is  valid  

4  one  year

cost  will  be  $50

think  i  might  stay  a  bit  longer  in  pattaya  now

have  to  book  it from  pattaya  end  though

this  means  ill  have  to  do a few  extra  hours work

now  but  i think its  worth  it  dont  you?

Sounds like you could also do a stopover in that thingy place in Burma!

yes  stopover  in  a  place  called  mingaladon

this  flight  is a marathon but its  worth the  trouble

all  forgotten  when  i  arrive in  pattaya

If it's over the Christmas period, you should be careful about availability coming back from Thailand.
