Pattaya Palace Hotel

I'm curi ???ous about this derelict hotel right on Beach Road/ Soi 6. I can't help thinking  there must be some stories from times gone by - if walls could talk! Any old timers any info?

A gf told me the problem was pee (ghosts.)  There are stories about ghosts in many hotels.  Apparently the help here thought the place was infested with em.

 

I know of floors of hotels that are closed because the help will not clean the rooms, but this is the first I know about the whole place shut down.

Even the streetmaps indicate 'closed' so I guess its been quite a while since folk rested up there. Quite a

prime position too. I can think of a lot worse places to

haunt when the toes finally turn up...

 

Great board and thanks for the advice and stories. I hope to post my first timer story one day including the swapover in the Bangkok Karaoke bar and trying to barter in the duty free shop...
