5 Star Qatar

Qatar Airlines have just been upgraded to 5 Star status on the Airline Quality/Skytrax rankings.

 

They join Singapore and Cathay to be the only three airlines ranked as 5 Star. (and well-desrved IMHO).

There seems to be no availability on Qatar for my July/August Trip. Travelbag were showing flights Manchester>Doha>Bangkok at £515 up to a week ago, but when I tried to book today I was told there was no availability. Instead I have got Emirates fro £580 inc tax. Dont think this is too bad, as I paid £540 for March/April.

Always found the service to be very good with Qatar although my next trip is with KLM, £409 including tax.

 

Anyone know what plane it is on the Amsterdam-BKK route ? Not a 1-11 I hope.
