Hi Guys, it's been a while since my last post but I need some help on a hotel recomendation or two.

 

Myself and a couple of mates will be in Thailand for our usuall Xmas/New Year fuckfest and we intend to visit Phuket for the first time. We want to try our hand at scuba etc.

 

We are looking for a hotel in or very near to Patong beach as that seems to be where all the action is. (if i am wrong please correct me)

 

We have a budget of around 700 to 900 baht a night and guest freindly etc. for the dates of Jan 05 till Jan 14, can anyone help.

Try doing a search for the Expat's hotel.

 

Your budget is a bit slim for Phuket but you never know.

For that time of year, High Season, I think your budget is way to low. I paid 850 baht per night at a nice hotel, close to the beach, and the same room goes for 1450 baht during the time you want to go.

 

I think you will require some very good luck to find a hotel to your liking for the time & price you are looking for.

Very Tiight for Hi season..Use latestays.com and do a little surfing to know about the various hotels...Can be done but tough....Pattaya and Bangkok are mcuh cheaper.
