Anyone stayed in a decent hotel there ?

I'm planning to stay at the Charoensri Grand,but I just need somewhere that is comfy and close to beer.

The Charoensri Hotel is widely recognised as being the best hotel available in Udon Thani (although it is far from the cheapest!).

 

It is located in the heart of the City, right amongst the nightlife. Just cross the road and you will find a rapidly expanding complex of bars etc.

 

If you make it to Nongkhai, get a Tuk Tuk to take you to "The Meeting Place" and I'll buy you a beer. Same offer applies to any other FLB Member that find themselves up this way.

PSP,thanks for the offer of a beer.I'll take you up on your offer should I be sober enough to venture further than my hotel bar.(But not in a tuk-tuk eh? )

With Pete's permission, I will post details of the new "Meeting Place" website when I have it up and running.

 

In the meantime, don't worry too much if the GF is not up for a trip to the sticks. I'm sure I can find you a suitable substitute for a few days
