A small place called Jasmine Mansion is on Soi Bukhaow... it's very close to Areca Lodge. A smaller but clean place and about half the price. I have stayed there in last May and was alright. Nothing fancy but ok for the price. I paid 600 baht per day for standard room.

I had some friends who stayed at Areca Lodge and said it was a nice hotel. I walked by the hotel pretty much everyday and found it to look nice. I myself will be trying it out during my next visit.

This is not Jasmine Hotel but Jasmine Mansion. I myself stayed at Jasmine Mansion for 5 nights last month. Overall experience was pleasant. Owner Kevin and his wife are very nice and friendly and so is the rest of their staff. Very responsive to all your needs. Hotel is very clean and well lighted. I would recommend it.

I will be making a stop over at Singapore towards the end of May. As I am flying with Singapore Airlines, they are offering discount rates for hotels. I need recommendation for the better hotel from the list. Please note that I will be with a significant other so no hobbying there. You should be able to find a good deal via www.airasia.com from SIN to BKK. I was checking for travel dates in May and rates are like USD125 roundtrip from Singapore to Bangkok. Other discount airlines are http://www.tigerairways.com and http://www.jetstarasia.com.

What are the best options to travel from Singapore to Bangkok ? My plans are to leave Singapore on May 01 and return from Bangkok on May 6. I want to reach Singapore by 1:00pm on May 06. I have checked tigerairways.com and jetstarasia.com but they both reach Singapore late in the evening. One option is to reach Singapore at night on May 05. But I would really like to spend another night with some sexy ying in BKK.
