Thanks for the feedback. It means a lot to me. I've covered the LK Metro area in a previous "What I Saw..." post. Maybe you could post the link when you find it? -
What I Saw Today in Pattaya

Robert, your comments are extremely kind and mean a lot to me. www.thailandfriends.com is a great place to meet regular Thai girls with regular jobs and lives. I've met well over 50 and have had only good experiences. The girls would often show up in cars or at the bus station to hang out with me in Pats. My only warning is that they want to chat on msn messenger for a decade first. There's no point in me fixing you up with any girls that I know because you'll find much much better looking once you get here. Pop into FLB and check out the beauties there. Thanks for the comm -
What I Saw Today in Pattaya

Those kinds of pics you'll find in dozens and dozens of trip reports of other board members. My goal has been mainly to show my perspective of the other aspects to Pattaya rather than bars/gogos, P4P, etc. Although some of those elements do fit into my life as an expat, it's not usual. I make it a point to be have my stomach full and my TG back in my condo by 11pm. every night. I feel Pattaya is too dangerous. Although I live in central Pattaya, I'm very aware of the news headlines here and I don't feel safe at all after dark other than on WS, sois 7/8, etc. but I hardly ever -
He's alive. I see him around on occasion. Never been to his bar.

Monday, May 22, 2006 Located on Pattaya Klang directly across from Carrefour. On the 3 “specials†nights where it’s all you can eat for 99 baht, it’s an unbeatable deal. Good value for money. However, there’s always some comical screw ups with the service. In fact, I noticed tonight that I hardly ever see the same staff week to week! Tonight my girlfriend and I enjoyed pasta night. I’ve included a photo of the menu. There was no white clam sauce tonight (you'd think with such a small menu they would know to order the correct ingredient supply. I've gone there on pizza night

MONDAY, MAY 22, 2006 LAST NIGHT I ENJOYED THE DANCE CONTEST AT BABE WATCH GOGO (COVENT GARDEN SOI 16 WALKING STREET). WHO’S IDEA WAS IT TO BLOCK A PERFECT VIEW WITH THICK TREES?? VISITED JOMTIEN TODAY. FOR THOSE THAT DON’T KNOW (ALTHOUGH IT WILL BECOME EVIDENT QUICKLY), JOMTIEN HAS A THRIVING GAY COMMUNITY. VISITED THE REDEMPTORIST VOCATIONAL SCHOOL FOR THE DISABLED. IMPRESSIVE LANDSCAPING & ARCHITECTURE. VIENTIENNE RESTAURANT ON WALKING STREET. NICE VIEW! BLIND MASSAGE (120 BAHT) SOI 20 NAKLUA.

Thanks for the comments. It means a lot to me. Marriott's website has a nice photo gallery of the Pattaya hotel. My pics would be redundant. I'll get there eventually as I want to see their pool and garden. MARRIOTT -

This is the best review I could find. my cam Unfortunately, I didn't have a better cam when I met Led Zeppelin. -
Sunday, May 21, 2006 Started the day in my least favorite part of town: Walking Street! (aka The Sewer aka The Ashtray aka The Yeast Infection). It was 7:00am local time so I decided to head to the port via WS to watch people boarding the first boat to Koh Larn. First I noticed was a more than normal amount of people vomiting on WS. Upon closer inspection, I uncovered that there was a big fight at one of the still vibrant discos and security used some kind of pepper spray to disperse the crowds. It certainly worked but there was a lot of puke on WS this morning. Watch your step.

What I Saw Today in Pattaya-Makka Bucha Day
blueeyes replied to blueeyes's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
It was one of my best days ever in LOS. All the beautiful people just being themselves but also open to meeting new people (such as me!). There were only about 4 farangs on the field so it wasn't difficult to collect 15 telephone numbers in an hour to occupy me for 2 weeks. You just won't ever see again such a large cluster of working girls in the day hours. -

I hope someone can find those cellophane wrapped toothpicks and is coming to Pattaya soon... -
Have a stroll through Royal Garden (whether raining or not), you'll get your answer in a hurry.

Saturday, May 20, 2006 Cruising along 2nd road, I see this much talked about club. Behind the club is an alley with some interesting graffiti. I decided to enjoy Big C’s aircon and meet the lusty (and good hearted) salesladies. Here we go: Random Big C shots. Typo! Relaxed photographer (you must try those massage chairs!). Retirement Home outing. Nova’s new project. What’s not mentioned at the sa

Lived there 2 months once upon a time. Only positives to report other than a swimming accident which required stitching. At the same time, I'd like to put over the fine staff at Pattaya International Hospital on Soi 4 across from Big C.

Friday, May 19, 2006 Sun showers throughout the day. I didn’t get out until afternoon and by then I couldn’t keep my camera out as the rain kept coming down. It was hot as the sun was out but I couldn’t risk getting my cam wet. Maybe better pics tomorrow. AS LOUD AS IT LOOKS THAT DOESN’T LOOK SAFE MINI GOLF ON THE BEACH LUNCH! CHEAPEST INTERNET SHOP IN TOWN (SOI BUAKOW) IT’S A DIRTY JOB BUT SOMEONE’S GOTTA DO IT CITY OVERVIEW (PHOTO BORROWED) A COLLECTION OF GIFS

Robert, Thanks for the feedback. It's comments like yours that make it happen. I think the rules are no ladies to be posted in the open section. Besides, you don't have to look too far to find free pics of Thai ladies on the net. You live in The Netherlands and you're asking ME to show YOU ladies' pics?? You've got the best in your own backyard. Dutch butts drive me nuts. Thanks again! Just to keep you happy, here's a Thai lady... -
Thursday, May 18, 2006 We got more rain this morning. It was pretty heavy like last night’s storm. I went so far as to cancel a morning meeting across town as I knew I would be soaking and cold (from the aircon)… Things were slow moving today. Nobody crazy from the heat or hurried. Businesses weren’t busy all over town. It seemed like most merchants were waiting for something to happen. You be the judge. Enjoy. ANYONE NEED SOMETHING IRONED? FUN FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY! DURIAN SEASON IN PATTAYA DON’T EVEN WA

Coincidentally, I was planning to shoot some of the larger hotels this weeks. I really enjoy the landscaping. Done and done sir. -
Lately, there hasn't been one 24 hour period where there hasn't been any rain here in Pattaya! As I was awoken by the rain, I've put together some Pattaya rain shots.

With their permission, I sent him the names of current dissatisfied guests (accouting for about 9 of the 90 rooms) and in addition, I sent him the names of friends/family who had verifiable reservations at Nova who were now cancelling them. Do what you want with your money but I don't recommend Nova Park.

SKY BEACH CONDOMINIUM NAKLUA
blueeyes replied to blueeyes's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Thanks Sam. I was paying 15k+utilities per month. There are cheaper rooms but you may not have sea view. The Julie Hotel is on Walking Street (bring your earplugs) at the foot of soi 16 which is where all those new gogos were built (Catz, etc.) so yeah, you can get a taxi there anytime. Ask for room 201 or 301. You lucky man!
