  1. My home away from home in BKK is The Woraburi Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 4 just down the road from Nana Plaza and skytrain. There are safes at reception, ID checks, free welcome drink, buffet breakfast included, free shuttle bus to/from Nana Hotel/skytrain, comfortable beds, new hotel, nice pool and view. Under 1000 baht. She likes it too! The End
  2. Friday, May 26, 2006 I DIDN'T THINK I'D GET IN AN UPDATE TODAY. STARTED MY DAY EARLY AND HEADED OVER TO SUGAR HUT RESORT ON PRATAMNAK HILL FOR LUNCH. IT’S SO PEACEFUL THERE. FIRST GOING DOWN THE LONG AND WINDING COUNTRY ROAD WITH ALL THE TREES OVERHEAD. NOT MUCH OF THE BUNGALOW RESIDENCES CAN BE SEEN FROM THE FOOTPATH AS THERE ARE SO MANY TREES! THE MOST IMPRESSIVE PART WAS THE RESTAURANT. IT’S JUST YOU AND THE TREES. THEIR MENU WAS INTERESTING. THEN I WENT TO JOMTIEN FOR MY HONEY FIX FROM A DISTRIBUTOR FOR A CHIANG MAI HONEY MANUFACTURER. SO CHEAP! IT’S ACROSS FROM THE AKSORN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY ON THEPPRASIT ROAD. AND THEN SOME MIDTOWN SHOPPING…
  3. So who's hotter: Big C or Royal Garden babes? Thanks for your nice comments.
  4. Julie Hotel has no joiner fee nor does Sky Beach. Both have unparalleled sea views.

  10. I mentioned in another post that I won't be posting any photo updates for a few days so I wanted to post a few pics I had sitting around a few days ahead to make up for it. There is a cap of how many pics can be posted per entry so I split them into a few days. To keep the posts distinguished from one another (as they all have the same title), I titled the posts with future dates. Once the date passes, it won't make any difference except as a way to distinguish one post from the other. Hope that makes sense to anyone other than moi.

  18. TUESDAY, MAY 23, 2006 A BEAUTIFUL DAY TODAY. I RESPONDED TO SOME OF YOUR PHOTO REQUESTS COVERING LK METRO, SOI 6, AND MARRIOTT HOTEL. REGARDING THE BM WHO WANTED SOI 13, THERE ARE SEVERAL 13s. WHICH ONE? (13/1, 13/2, ETC.). MY FAVORITE STREET IN PATTAYA NEAR NIRAN CONDOS SOI ARUNOTAI. RIGHT IN CENTRAL PATTAYA IS A STRIP FOR GETTING SOME SPEED. TOO DANGEROUS AT NIGHT BUT IN THE DAY I ENJOY DOING 80K ON MY LITTLE BIKE. EXPECTING IT TO HIT 30 BAHT/LITER SOON ENOUGH. BANANA TREES IN SOUTH PATTAYA. WHO KNEW? I’M ALWAYS PLEASED WHEN I FIND THESE LITTLE OASIS’S. THE MARKET ON SOUTH PATTAYA ROAD. SOME FAMILIAR LOOKING CLOTHING. SOI LK METRO. SOI 6 AND THE BEACH. IRISH PUB ON 2ND ROAD. REQUISITE BEFORE GOING TO THE CASTLE FETISH CLUB IN PATTAYA. MY GIRLFRIEND OF TODAY. PERFECT REMOTE CONTROL.
  19. Pitini's is on the west side of Buakow. When exiting LK Metro, turn left and you'll eventually hit it. Don't forget your laptop as it's a hot spot with a good speed. Try the home made ice cream and tell Paul I sent you.
  20. My condolences! Nice to hear from a fellow Canuck. I'm from Montréal. Go Habs!
