I called in for a look around and agree that the bigger corner room is very nice, has a large wall mounted tv but at 3350 baht is overpriced. Large walk in showers in both rooms with a bath also in the bigger room. No dvd players in rooms and small fridges .......... very quiet in the rooms also despite overlooking second road . They have a 3 month promotion on the smaller room of 1750 , normal rate for it is 2550 and if you stay a month it is 1500.

I have just received a reply from the LK Metropole after using the "card" . I asked about a 1 month stay but have been quoted 48000 for a superior room .......no discount

I also like the sabai inn , I am planning a months holiday in november and the new rate has made me start searching for somewhere new

I bought some transition lenses last february from the eyelab on the ground floor in the big c .The cost was 4,500 baht and it takes them about 5 days to make the lenses . Very happy with them

On the question of the RG location i am wondering are there shops nearby which will keep me supplied with water, toiletries and other day to day items that i might need.
