  1. What if they give you a bloke as a pen friend??
  2. The women in Krabi must have big tits??
  3. I got Thai direct from LHR for £481.48 for April through Travelocity!
  4. Neo, welcome to the board, Ned is right, the Areca hits the spot for all you need
  5. Will watch this with interest, I enjoyed flying with Etiyhad last year, interesting to compare the prices and what connection times there are with BKK flights.
  6. The Areca dont like you to have more than one girl, I was there in September and witnessed a discussion between a BM and the management about it, they made it clear that they are against having twosomes or more, otherwise, I like the place and will almost certainly stay there again in April.
  7. Good advice Turbo Im now looking at a strong contender for my April campaign, Etiyhad by Manchester £427, Belfast Manchester £53.98, with time to spare for connections
  8. I stayed at the Majestic Grande and would thoroughly recomend it, It is an excellent hotel with a touch of luxury for quite reasonable rates. It is close to the Nana area, I cant remember the name of the street (soi) facing the front entrance, but you just walk up it and turn left, and a short stroll takes you up to the Nana etc.
  9. That flybe flight lands at 08.35 & the Etihad flight takes off at 08.55 so that connection is not possible , unless you know of a later flight . You would even be too late for the only other morning flights from LGW , the Qatar 10.00 & Emirates 10.00 . Turbo, the flight Im looking at takes off at 9 55, still tight but I think its do,able. Im now looking at Thai flights that are just over £40 more than Etihad but are direct.
  10. I thought Etiyhad were quite good when I flew with them last September, but I think for anythiing less than £100 saving, I would be tempted to take a direct flight . Like some of the other BM,s on this thread, I am also from Northern Ireland and agree it is a bitch to try and sequence (and pay!) for connecting flights. The first flybe flight (7.00 am) from Belfast will normally get you into Gatwick for a lot of the BK flights, thats what I got for my Etiyhad flight, £100ish for a return flight. I find the Heathrow connection more ackward and expensive. I am going again in April and so far t
  11. Geoff, I had the lazer treatment done last September, I think it was called the Royal dentists, on 2nd Road almost directly across from the Marriott hotel. It cost B10 000, and B1000 for a hygenist to clean the teeth first. I found having to keep my mouth wide open for two hours very uncomfortable, I also had sensitivity shooting pains for a day or two later. I asked the receptioist at the Areca where I was staying for a "before and after" opinion, her view was that the teeth defnitly looked whiter, the precautions already mentioned by other BM,s in regard to staining are correct. I would t
