Yes you could be right ,but sure some ladies have got it wrong ,as if ladies was more interactive with all customers for example talking to me and my lady ,my lady always gets them a drink,. I do take my lady to Go Gos as she likes to see them dancing and she always gets more eye contact /attention than me

Just been giving a thought why you do not see this issue as much in Khon Kaen with the bar girls/service given. In Khon Kean most people drink large bottles of beer in a small glass or Thai whiskey There is lots of interation with the staff and customers with plenty of smiles,as when your glass is half empty,the ladies are always refilling your glass. This is good for customers who feel special because they are being well looked after ,good for bar owner as will sell more beer and keeping all staff busy,good for staff as they get good interaction with their customers ,also will get nice tip ,so win win situation for all. Would like to see more of this in Pattaya ,mind you im sure there are plenty and bars like this in Pattaya and Im sure these bars are doing very well due to this

Yes I do know how to make the ladies smile straight away and get great service ,ring the bell as soon as I enter the bar. But i might be old fashion ,I like the smile and good service before giving payment/tips for this. Like I have said a friendly smile cost nothing for both parties .

I have been coming to Pattaya for over 6 years now so i have some knowledge of the past and the present. Is it just me know who seems to think Pattaya does not appear the LOS compared to a few years ago. Maybe I dont get as good service with a smile as I did in the past as now I have my Thai lady with me when I visit bars compared to the past when I was single guy in the bars. Even my lady even says why ladies do not give a good smile to customers as much as when she use to work in Pattaya a few years ago. In my book good happy service should be given to all customers whether single or with their lady friend,sure boss would also want this. Also im sure its a good thing for the bar girls give good service to all ,as I am sure not to buy a drink for the staff or leave a tip if I receive bad service ,smile being friendly costs no money but can bring them money. Why I notice this so much now is maybe because i seem to get a great LOS greeting when out in my city of Khon Kaen when Me and my lady is having a night out in the city centre. Things I have noticed in some of the bars ,if boss not in ,many of the ladies sitting together out side ,looking very bored,on their telephones ,eating ,ect ,seem to be effort to greet you with a nice smile,nobody seem want to to serve you unless told by somebody working behind the bar like a cashier. I like to drink my bottle beer from a small glass ,in this way I can keep a good head on my beer,asking for a small glass seems a impossible thing ,seems to much effort for them .I have even had a glass bang on a bar given to me with a bad stare. You may think they dont understand my request ,im sure there do as my Thai lady ask for this for me.Dont get me wrong i do like the Pattaya bars i go to as i see lots of my mates in these bars and still have a great night ,all im saying am I the only person who thinks Pattaya have lost a little of the LOS compare to the past. Love to hear your experiance of this. Maybe its Me ,now I visit with my Thai lady im no longer a handsum man

Tony may not walk so much on walking street ,just stand out side bar area with bottle in hands looking at the live bands, I have seen this lots of time whilst having a night out in Rolling Stone Bar See you Friday mate

Bazile you get all areas of Pattaya not just Soi LK attract all social spectrum possible as I have seen this in all my 6 years coming to Pattaya.but never mind its not a big issue to me but your remarks could have upset a few BMs who visit Soi LK a lot

Bazle I love stopping on Soi LK and meet lots of our friends/BMs here so your words are a little harsh i think Great rooms can be found on this Soi,been stopping on this Soi for last 4 years. Also a great location middle way to walking street and Soi 8 ect,great baht bus routes Never mind everybody see you on Soi LK at Rons party at the Druken Duck this Friday

I have had good nights on Soi LK also good nights on walking street ,as we know you may go into a place one night have a fantastic night go the next night and the place is empty ,so can see what all the fuss is about. I think it is great to have many locations now where you can go in Patts , I just go to the places where my mates will be, to me its does not matter where I go as I can have a good time any where

Here in Khon Kaen we have had it lucky ,one day a very heavy down pour ,most major roads and under passes flooded ,but as soon as rain stopped ,within 1 hour all water was clear,in last 2 years here in Khon Kaen lots of new large drainage pipes have be installed ,back up with pump stations sending the water to the lakes. Most of the bad flooding in Isaan has been where the rivers and mountains ,Korat does get bad floods ,and towns on the Meeekon river. Been worse in north Thailand ,Chang Mia has had bad floods as well. Should only be about 3 weeks of wet weather left ,then great weather for Nov,Dec,Jan,Feb

Alf keep away from the places which have beautiful eye candy working there. See if you can find a small shop ,mainly family business who are chinees ,will get a good job and good price. Sorry i dont know Patts ,but know a good one in Khon Kaen

Be great week end viewing of the Rugby For Sure of not teams going home England must win Scotland,or loose by more than 7 points, Scotland must win England Ireland must win Italy Wales must not loose by at least 4 tries to Fiji Frane must not loose by at least 4 tries to Tonga Even SA could go home if not win against Somoa In fact there is only one team at the moment with enough points to go through NZ so should be some exciting cliff hanging games this week end Top 3 teams scoring tries so far NZ 24 TRIES SA 20 TRIES ENG 17 TRIES So much for the gutter press saying Eng can not score tries Also England have had only 1 Try scored against them Scotland have only scored 4 tries and have had 3 tries scored against them So Scotland must be looking at this knowing a win at least 7 points more than England is not going to be easy. Next planned trip is when rugby quarter finale is on

My trip to Pattaya from Khon Kaen last week . We used the new s class bus with Chan tours. Fantastic reclimbing seats ,only 3 seats in a row instead of the 4. Own TV monitors,many english movies ,internet access ,ect,ect, I watched 2 movies had 4 hours sleep ,made the 9 hour journey very easy and very relaxing. Price 550 bhts.

Im not sure now ,see my comments below Well like it has been said before started raining about 11pm Sat night ,think did not stop till sunday noon. Was stoping on Soi LK at Metro Bar ,street flooded about 1 foot deep and all water cleared about 6 hours later. So I had a few beers in after noon watching the rugby at Metro till water cleared. Put a bit of damper on the rugby as not as many supporters turned up at the bars to watch the rugby compare to the fri and saturday in which these two days was a great turn out and a wonderful atmospere Think the worst area was soi diana area at least the flood water was 4 foot deep. The water in this soi was still about 2 foot deep at 7pm Sunday night ,so did not venture too far on the Sunday night. All go gos open on Soi Metro except MASH. Me and Lin went to couple and both places was doing a good trade. Felt sorry about a guy who had to go back to air port as the mini bus would not pick him up at the hotel. So he was wal;king through the flood water humping a large suite case. Mind you I was happy when no flooding on Monday as I had to go back to Khon Kaen,so this could have been me. Be careful about walking about in flood water as I had a mate who got typhod due to this a few years ago. Even with all the flood water ,this did not stop the ladies going to work in the bars. I did notice the ladies at Devils Den did turn up for work ,even though some a little late turning up. The ladies at the Golf Club on LK Metro do want giving good tips ,as these ladies were so busy delivering food to other hotels wading through the flood water as many falangs did not leave their hotel to go out to eat. I did enjoy my week end away to Patts ,which was planned to watch the world cup rugby ,but I must admit I did not like the terrible weather and flooding ,so before my next trip away I will sure look at the waether forcast before i go. Maybe look at packing my waders on my next trip. As I went back to Khon Kaen by bus on the Monday,on route back home did see some main roads flooded and a few lorries over turned. So to travel on these roads can be dangerous ,so another reason to pick my times when to travel back to Patts for the rugby. I am hoping to go back for quarter finales if weather looks ok,also if England wins ,back for Semi and x fingers win for England may stop till the finales ,but you all know about making Plans in Thailand haha

Wonder any body in Pattay have seen any Rugby Shirts for Sale, I would love to find this Sat ,The England away colour shirt ,this being the black design. Well im packed ready for my travel to Pattaya ,bus from Khon Kaen at 9 30pm tonight

Very sad indeed ,Thats why Rugby Union is my sport ,all the brawling/tackles happen on the match ground ,the fans are fantastic ,When I attended a world cup in 2003 in ozzy met and had many beers with so many wonderful people from all around the world
