  1. Was always curious as to who and how bar girls received their " english" names. Does the bar owner decide? Does the mamasan decide? Does the bar girl pick a name or gets to pick from a variety of names? And is there any special reason that they seem to change their " english" names? I have noticed some FLB girls that have left and then came back to work with different names. Is there any significance to this? hmmmmm. symmer
  2. As long as you stick to American Travellers Cheques and high denominations you will be fine. I only bought $500.00 ones, as each one costs to cash in. You probably will get a bit better exchange at the banks but its not likely going to be a lot. Well good luck on your trip.
  3. I am Very Proud to Be A Canadian. I think we did Fantastic. Especially considering we only have the population of one tenth of the U.S. of A. Wishing All Canadian Olympians are best wishes and thank them for making us proud. symmer

  6. There are two basic ways to do this. 1. Easiest way is to forward the original email that contains all the pictures. Most email programs like hotmail have an icon just above an email that has been opened that says reply, forward, etc. If you use the forward icon then put in the address of the person you are going to send it to in the "to" box then hit the send button then it should send the original email containing any text and all attached files( jpgs). Do note that most pictures are quite big in size(megabytes) so it can take some time to send the email to others. Your email program may look like it has hung up but it is trying to copy the files.( pictures) If you receive any warning messages you will have to try step 2. 2. You can also download the pictures onto your computer, usually right click on file/picture then save to disk. You could use a software program to downsize the kilobytes/megabytes,( if desired) then zip the files to compress them then attach this zip file to an email then send it. More work but quicker to send it. Also most email programs will only let you send attachments that are smaller than ten megabytes. If you have received a larger file but can not send it you will be easier to download all the pics to your computer, then either resize them or send them in small batches that are less than ten mb. Usually download the pics to one file on your computer then open new email( meaning compose new email) then hit the attachment icon if you can find one, it will usually show an empty box and the word "browse" beside it. Click on browse then scroll through your files on your computer until you have located the file containing your pictures, click on one picture at a time to attach. This is generally the way most email programs operate, though there is some differences. I hope that there is at least some information that can help you.
