Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

  2. the hotel is siam view.....off soi 12 if going from pattaya central and soi4 on right if coming down 2nd rd.
  3. I have been staying in pattaya several months a year from 95. I spend very little money and still have a great time. I go to a bar during the day that has 30 baht ice cold beer, has a free pool table and usually at least 5-6 working staff and 4-5 freelancers every day, nights there are more...beer is still 30 baht. I will usually troll beach road around 6-8PM and can find average to above average for 400-500 baht short time. Food, I eat on the stret vendors or sailor bar and Foodland. I use to go to go-go bars, but have been burned out there, I will go if friends are heading there. I stay at a nice hotel with pool and free wi-fi, for 12,000/month, the hotel is only 3 years old and very clean. has balcony, maid service and about 5 minutes from beach rd by motorbike. There are days that I only spend 1000 baht and have a great time. I have plenty of money, just dont need to spend like crazy anymore. I always get the phone numbers from anyone I take ST and have called at a later date and have them come by lt for 800-1000, no problem, its the same with the soi 6 bars girls, more difficult because a lot actually live at the bar.
  4. Thanks bazl, there was a lot of info on that site....really appreciate the link. Seems it ref other posts that all implied she was really good. thanks.
  5. I am in need of some dental work. I have had my teeth cleaned many times in Pattaya and have had no problems. I now need either a implant or root canal with a cap. can you guys who have had implants, bridges, root canals and such let me know if you recommend your dentist...or stay away. prices would be nice also. I can probably get prices over the internet, so mostly need the experience of service. I can go to bangkok or even chaig mai if necessary.
  6. thank you biggles, i am looking to stay at serpendipidy beach, any info on that area would also be apprciated. if not too much trouble, let me know how long each part of trip is. thanks again.
  7. ricosuave, what the hell are you talking about. Thats the problem with these forums sometimes...they let idiots respond.
  8. I am wondering if there is a easy way to go fom Pattaya to serendipity beach in cambodia. I see a train station is located near the pier there, but am wondering how extensive the train ride would be. Any help would be appreciated. thanks.
  9. go to soi dians and the intersection of soi baukow. There is a dentists office right across from the Oasis Bar. I have gone to this dentist at least 4 times for cleaning and 1 time to have a tooth filled and the last trip had my teeth whitened. I have never had a problem, prices are very reasonable and I always request the female dentist working there. She is a doll baby.
  10. go to any local Thai resturant and ask them for their card. I use one that costs $5.00 US dollars and it is good for 8 hrs of talking....no weekly fees either.
  11. thanks frostfire, I will let them know and they can decide what dates are good for them, myself, 1-2 days and I have had enough. I have been lucky in bangkok to avoid a lot of it. had never been in Pattya for it and knowing Pattaya, was sure it would be more too it.
  12. Hey guys, How about some help. there are 3 things I need to know and it all pertains to Pattaya only. 1) I need to know exactly when Sonkran (water whatever) takes place. DATES 2) is this a 24 hr/day event or is the water throwing limited to a certain time frame. 3) is this happening only on the streets or is it also in the bars. Now guys, I am arranging airfare and hotels for 6 people, I need only the people who are 100% sure of the answers, I am not looking for the " I think, or someone told me or usually this or that". If you do not know 100% what I am asking....please refrain from gueswwork. Thanks.
  13. looks like a road king to me....but with all the models changing....who knows. 960,000 seems a bit pricey for a 2007, even in Thialand.
  14. I will be arriving in Pattaya dec 20 and staying until Feb.20, 2011. I want an apt or condo that is somewhat close to nightlife and beach road. I have a motorbike. I need for it to have access to a pool. I want it to be clean, safe area and has to have internet hook-up. I know prices vary with location so send me info with pictures if possible. I will be in Pattaya aug 16 for a month. I would like to look at the unit at that time and can see exactly what id offered.
  15. call them and tell them to go through Pay-pal....I have done this in the past and the establishment never gets the cc information. The lk metro hotel does this and it works well.
  16. emil, can you give an idea where soi AR is, I am curious to take a look at the Siam View hotel you were talking about. I will be staying at the LK Metro off Soi Diana..

    divorce

I would like to hear from Americans only who have brought a Thai lady to the US, married her in the US, and then divorced her. I have been married 16 months...I want to know what my responsibility is to the Thai lady if I get a divorce. I know I signed papers that said I was resposible for her for 10 years. I want to go with her to Thailand and then tell her that I want a divorce and I will leave Thailand. I want to get the divorce while she is in Thailand. Has anyone done this...no children involved. I would rather pay one lump payment and be through with it. If anyone (american) has done this...please send me info. Thanks
  19. Gary, I have been traveling to Thailand now for 11 years, also have been watching these boards for a couple years and know that no matter what you ask here, you are going to get a lot of BS and have to sift through all of that for the 2 or 3 jewels that are hidden inside. I do appreciate several responses and because of those, it made my post worthwhile. Thanks guys...even the masses with the idiotic replies....have fun in LOS.
  20. thanks so far for your input. please keep it coming as I need a S MUCH INFO AS POSSIBLE. iF THERE IS ANYONE OUT THERE who has already built a nice house and is pleased with the contractor...please let me know. There are so many horror stories dealing with contractors, I would love to be able to deal with someone 90% honest....thanks agin.
  21. In about a year I will be trying to build a home for my in-laws in Issam...I am curious as to the process of getting a good quality home built,,,nothing extravagant...but simple 2-3 bedroom with a kitchen and bath. I do not intend to hand over "X" amount of money without seeing what is being done, I would hope I would be able to pay "as you go" so to speak. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
