Has anyone purchased "in the canal" hearing aids in Patts or Bangkok. Also, if you have, are they good quality and how much are they for the pair. Thanks guys.

If you are in pattata....go to central festival, there is one just as you get off the elevator and head into the mall....it is either floor 4 or 5...not sure. I use them all the time.

Papillon, or what ever you call yourself the post was where are the cheapest beer bars, I commented on the post. You on the other hand, of course being the god of all things Thai...mentioned the bars are crap and women are shit. Must be nice to be you. come out to 2ND road from soi8, look for the entrance to a bar complex just up and across the street. the 2 I go to mostly is Ma Mak and Lucy....the beera are 45 baht 24 hrs a day....there are probably 20 bars...music...women everything...also 4 of the bars have pool tables. Sorry for the line in the post....not sure what is up with that.

If you take a right from Pataya klang at the light just before Foodland, follow this road for about 8 minutes (motorbike) winding road, Just before you get to the "T" in the road...it is on your right. Great shop...100 baht....haircut, shave, hot towel massage, and the best thing.....this guy will listen to what you want. Been going there for 3 years now...out of the way....but worth the time.

yeah, there was construction going on , on the backside earlier this year.

short, I must haved missed the memo, trash the room where you stay in order to have fun in Pattaya. I stay at nice places to relax and enjoy my stay. I guess if you stay in a dump, it looks the same as when you got there as when you leave.

I do not smoke, very rarely drink at home and am not into having parties at home. Only guests would be overnite and then out the door. Hey guys, need some help with an email contact. I seem to have misplaced the email address. If anyone is walking around, can you go to soi 15, directly behind the Avenue there is a 7-11, now directly behind the 7-11 is a condo, you walk past the 7-11( small alley , soi) and the entrance is on your left. inside the glass door there is a counter that usually has 1 or 2 ladies there. After 6 PM , they are gone and the door is locked. Can someone possibly get me the email address so that I can contact them about a multi-month rental. Any help would be appreciated, also, if you are walking from 2nd road, going thru the parking lot of the avenus to soi 15, that building that is at the end of parking lot, before you turn to your right to exit the parking lot is the back of the condos. just a reference. As you walk past the 7-11 the doors are to the left and there is a pool at the 1 o'clock position. Thanks guys.

I have been traveling back and forth to Thailand several times a year since 1996, not once have I ever been stopped by customs coming in from the luggage carosels. The last 3 years I never carry and baggage except for my computer bag. I get stopped several times in the US to explain why I have no baggage, but never in Thailand.

I no longer drink draft beer anywhere on walking street bars...go-go to be exact. Last time while in a go-go bar, I was heading to the pisser when I noticed a thai guy behind the bar...in a corner pouring half full glasses of beer into a pitcher...he then put the pitcher in a small fridge. When I came back out after taking a leak...I intentionally positioned myself so I could see the fridge...wasnt but a minute or so....out came the pitcher and poured it into 2 glasses...watched a waiter take them to a table and sevrve to unsuspecting guys. I will drink draft at the beer garden and anywhere, where I can see where my beer is coming from. Actually doesnt surprise me, just never saw it being done before. Kinda made me sick to my stomach after seeing people drinking draft beer and where my beer was before arriving to me.

Just to add a bit of info so I can generate some useful information: I am planning on doing the implant part in March...when I return in Oct for 5 months, I will then have the tooth (crown, whatever it is called) installed. there will be a 7 month healing and strengthning process.

OK, guys, need your help with some reputable places here in pattaya. I have spent the last couple weeks going to the pattaya hospital on soi 4 to have a root canal and crown done. I cant even begin to say how satisfied I am as far as price, pain and convience. They did an excellent job. Now though, I need to get 2 implants before I leave this trip, problem....the Pattaya hospital charges 75,000 per implant, several places I have seen prices ranging from 38,000 to 50,000. can anyone who has had implants done here in pattaya give me an idea if paying the 75,000 to the hospital is worth it, or are there other great dentists that can do as good a job for less money. I dont want to deal with pain....lol. thanks guys...any heads up would be great.

the banks will give you anything you want as long as you are not asking 2000 bath single coins or something as stupid as that. I normally will go to a 7-11 and buy a pack of gum for 5 baht and pay with a 1000 note, this gives me planty of change.
