Hi Not easy to get info on Sakon Nakhon esp car hire. I was there in November, town much bigger than I expected some nice restuarants and one large shopping centre. Spread over a large area so a car is a must. There is a car hire desk at the airport. The better of the hotels is the Sakol Grand Palace Hotel T Bht 1000 to 1400 per room per night. Internet access will be a problem.
