Hi, bkkbob, I also used to be Nautical. Nautical is really worth for money. When I stayed Natural was peak season, Dx was 1200 Bht and St was 950 Bht. It was said the room charge is cheaper in other seasons. The DX room was little larger than the room in Nautical. The room had a 1m width veranda. I did not found any other advantage over the Nautical, I thought both were at the same level. But the magnet key entrans to the hotel building apeals to me.

This hotel has two buildings, to go to the rooms in the old building, you enter from the beach road and must to pass the reception, while to the rooms in the new building you enter from soi 11, need not to pass the reception. The new building has a magnetic key at the entrans, every guest unlock the key by himself. So, no knocking in the midnight by BGs of previous nights. No magnet key, no entery, so it's convenient for butterfly guys. Rooms, a pool are OK. No elevator. Room charge I stayed at x'mas season in 1998 was around 1000Bht.

My memory is a bit hazy, but I think there is a step from corridor to a room. Floor level of a room is about 10 cm higher than the coridor level.

In these days, I saw some condos, RG (30k-), Sunshine Vista(21k -), Pinewood Condo(19k-). There is "One Mansion" in Soi 3 about 100m from the second road, in front of Sun shine Vista. So location is convenient. It is old, but not so bad. Only a shower, no bath tub, hot water, refrige, satellite TV, dd phone=internet OK, parking, security. The monthly rate is 10k. I usually use hotels by walking in. This time I reserved hotels through agents in internet. Here I write because I think they require too much to me. This is from another board (not written in English). Four people chartered a boat with 1500B to Ko Phai (Island). When they were there, four Thai men came to them saying if they want to enjoy Ko Phai, they must pay 150 B each. After negotiation the amount they want became to 100 B for staying more in Ko Phai or 50 B to back to Pattaya immediately. Four Thai men didn't speak any English, the boat man did terpretation. Is this scam ? Any one been to Ko Phai ? Did you pay ?

I am not a Korean but not a Farang. I like beer bars, but I think they are places for Farangs not for Orients. When I walk through soi 7 or soi 8, I never invited by calling of "Hey, hey sexy man - come inside - sit down by me." Even a bald fat farang is invited enthusiastically, it's total silent when I pass through. So, I always pass through in front of these bars thinking not a place for me. Sorry, when I am in Thailand, I am busy enjoying bars, beer gardens, a-go-gos, discos, etc.,. And it is not easy to write in English. I came back home a hour before. The elements of the BF in Nana hotel I took on Oct. 31 are only egg, ham and sausage except various breads and rices, fruit juices and milk. It was 150 B. In Sept. there were nearly 20 kinds of dishes including Thai foods, meats, if I remember correctly, it was 180 B. Another payment is required for drinks. The BF of Apex Hotel is great but I thought the BF of Nana was far more great.

In September, the buffe break fast at Nana Hotel in BKK was very great, I maight pay nearly 300B including soft drinks. I saw on tehe web page the room rates shown are including BF, So I thought the rate is very cheap if I could have a great BF. The BF now is, as mentioned above, is nothing special, it is 150 B incluiding free soft drinks.

If you use a windows machine, you can reduce your picture size using [Paint]. Program ¨ Accessary¨Paint You can find [Deformation(I)] Menue. In the menue, there is a tag, [expansion and contraction, gradient]. Click this tag, you can reduce your picture size. I will be in Pattaya soon, This time I would like to try new hotels. I read some reviews about this place; The guests are suffered from construction noises and some are stolen maney and jewelies while they are out. Do anyone have recent info about this hotel ?
