  1. Well everyone ... it's been awhile since there's been a bona-fide party in TQ2 so we decided to get our act together and do something to preserve Pattaya's world-class reputation as a party town. This Sunday, February 4th will be the first ever Mad Hatter's Party. Bring a silly or funny hat and join the fun! There will be a prize for the best (or worst!) hat, so don't be shy. The TQ2 ladies will dressed for the occasion, and here's how they'll be dressed to welcome you into the bar: Free food will be supplied by Palmer's from 9pm onward (first come, first served) and great rock 'n' roll will be playing all night from 8pm when the doors open. Happy hours are in effect until 10pm. We will also be featuring Lucky Draws during the evening with prizes including free TQ2 T-shirts ... a horn pull (10 shots of your choice on a tray) ... a free short-time barfine (only applies to the available female staff, not the manager or the owners) ... and a visit in the VIP Room (three girls of your choice in a private room over a three song set and what happens is up to you - and them!) ... Here's a pair of our service girls also getting ready for the occasion (note the tribute to the late, great Steve Blumenthal in the left hand background): ... and our cashiers ... By the way, our girls just LOVE tequila .... We hope to see you Sunday night for what should be a great evening at TQ2! -The Owners, Management, and Staff at TQ2

    Dollar/Baht

This is why it's moving so sharply: Thai Visa Thread Capital inflows subject to 30% withholding Bank of Thailand to order financial institutions to withhold reserve requirement of 30 per cent of capital inflows, effective as of Tuesday to curb rising short-term inflows which push bath to a new 9-year high Monday at Baht35.09 to the US dollar. Funds withheld from inflows for foreign direct investment can be returned as soon as evidence of the investment is provided. Otherwise, all of the withheld funds can be returned after one year, as long as it can be documented that the initial funds remained in the country for the entire period. If the funds are withdrawn from the country in less than one year, only two-thirds of the amount withheld will be returned to investors. -- from The Nation http://www.nationmultimedia.com/breakingne...newsid=30021867
