I have not been to Thailand since May but will be returning in a couple of weeks time. My AIS One 2 Call sim will have expired so does anyone know if new Sim cards as opposed to top-up cards for AIS are now available in 7-11's and Family Mart stores? Back in April they were only available from AIS outlets, my first stop is in Bangkok and I do not really want to trudge down to an AIS shop if they are available more locallly. I prefer the AIS network for both coverage and pricing. Thanks for any information.

Having seen this thread I decided to check on my end of year visit itinerary. I leave London on November 28th and the aircraft is shown as a 777 but for the return on January 20th it is a 747. I personally prefer the 747's over the 777 as I always fly Business Class and find the 747 upper deck more comfortable than the Premier Laurel on the new planes.

EVA UK will accept a seat allocation request by phone (0207-3808-300) 100 days prior to the flight if the seat is booked through a travel agent. If booked via the EVA website the seat allocation can be made at the time of the booking.

If anyone is planning a trip from the Uk to Thailand in December then EVA have a good deal going right now. Flying Premium Laurel (Business) class paying for your ticket within 14 days of booking the price is £1325 which is about £200 more than economy will be for the same period if booked later in the year. Offer through Travelbag for the Christmas high shoulder period flights

When I first started working in Pattaya 14 years ago that guy was doing exactly the same. He obviously makes a good living from it to have stuck with it for so long. As for your question about traffic, you mean to say that there are traffic rules in Pattaya?

<I'm sure you only get plastic knives and forks on BR067/8, LHR-BKK.> Not sure about Evergreen De-luxe as it is some years since I flew that, but in Business Class you do get metal knives and forks (-:

[quote author=WickedDan for 466 squid. Now that sounds fishy (:- Seriously you will find EVA air a great airline to fly. I have flown with them for the past 4 years, ( 8 return trips a year). If you can afford the extra few pounds it is worth going for the Evergreen Class over the Economy as you get a lot more leg room and wider seats. I am fortunate that as my flights are company expenditure I fly business class but I do have friends and family who fly with Eva in other classes and have yet to hear a bad word about them. Also the good thing about the London check in is that it op

Some friends of mine are arriving at Bangkok International airport in a few weeks time at 3.30PM and have to travel direct to Mathaput, Rayong. I have suggested either booking a taxi to meet them or picking up a car from the Thai Limo desk at the airport. At that time in the afternoon can anyone see any problems in getting a Thai Limo service from the airport down to Rayong? Thanks

At the moment EVA are offering H/row - BK flights at £465. through travel agents for travel up to end of May.

IMHO EVA wins hands down everytime. From reading the previous posts I must be one of the lucky ones. I have never had a delay with EVA and the service has always been excellent. you will find it difficult to try open your eyes and not finding a cabin attendant standing in the cabin with a tray of drinks. I fly the LN/BK return route 5 times a year and have used EVA for the last 4 years. Qantas since joining with BA have slipped in their standard of service, mainly because they use BA cabin crew on that route. I have only used EVA economy once when I needed a last minute seat but if your b
