Further to my earlier post and in answer to questions, thanks to those who responded anyway....the mall complex is 2 min walk from hotel but has cinemas, bowling alley etc open now with shops, cafes to come...will be back in patts early oct and will check it out again...its not like Big C etc...will be a good place overall as its right outside the door and gives a shortcut to main Rd...Jboy

Just completed a stay last month and could see construction site from my balcony....not a peep, never heard enough noise at any time of day...believe me I was on that balcony at all hrs of the day and nite....not a problem I would think!!!!

Alan, i agree with u an with other BMs as well...this is a tough topic, personally I dont like being hassled, mainly for unwarranted drinks etc...i got cleaned up in Coyotees and hence will be very unlikely to go back...the TQ2 no hassle approach works for some but not all, I dont mind waiting a while , say 20 mins before I want company, I have had up to 5 girls keeping me company and not BF one and gone to the next bar so we are all different...one thing I would say is if the mamasan is pushy that can fuck up the bar very quickly(again Coyotees)...u cant please everybody but perhaps the manag

Just to clarify, my lady friend, tilac etc is a registered guest and therefore no joiner fees or anything else will apply....a simple way to make her and myself more comfortable, no more cost and just a short email to travel agent (knows me and why I am there).....also shows respect and courtesy to her whilst she stays with me...

Joekicker...booked via travel agent and paying $44 aud per nite incl bfast for 2....approx 1300 baht as I can work out, seeing as how its only a 4 day stay and website seems to indicate it has all necessary facilities then thats ok with me....if u have stayed there just let me know!

Well, back on Oct 2 for a little while...visited Aug for 10 days so yes the fever has got me!!!

Sounds like a blast, I am back in town on Oct 2 for 5 glorious weeks so will get down and hope to meet many BMs....good idea boys!!!

Stinger, please u might ruin my reputation,,,,,the condos suggested actually have maid service, laundry, pool etc on site so that may still work out ok...Im waiting on a quote from PBR too to be fair as they were great, I have a desire however too "date" one of the girls there so thats a good enough reason to find myself another place to stay!!....anyway with so much talent and so little time I need guest friendly policy to be in order as well...these places dont have an issue with that....regards to u and thanks for suggestions...Jboy

RB...u r more right than u think...the added service can make all the difference...guest friendly is important too so thats a key issue, free wifi is reasonably important but also the location so thanks anyway...more info will come Im sure.....

Hi Boardies....am looking to return to LOS for a min 6 week stay...wish to gather suggestions on avail accom options for up to 22-24k baht pm....want mthly rate, reas size room, AC, in room safe, cable tv, balcony if poss, fridge, queen bed(min), no fuss guest policy, easy 24 hr access and central location....not too much to aks for I hope....Jboy

Just returned from trip and stayed 10 days at PBR...nice rooms, good service, friendly staff...joiner fee applies to 2nd guest only but I had ladies in every day with no hassles...for the price I paid I was very impressed...any fiurther info then feel free to PM me...Jboy

Rambo makes a fair point....however am actually interested in a place that is well located, reasonable quality, will offer mthly rates, all usual amenities, guest friendly and no hassle/no fuss staff....is this the sky centre Big D....I have no interest in the petty arguments in this thread....

ok, am looking at possible long term accom options so 6 weeks minimum stay....can u confirm deal u would do for a BM on all the forums and this is a serious request....I had plan to head back to Patts next yr but this trip is now possible due to change in work arrangements from approx mid oct.....please PM necessary details and some clarity around no of guests permitted in a room...ie 2 guests with me, is that ok....thanks..Jboy

No actually my intelligence is fine...it is you who chose not to read or check the dates on this issue initially...either way it is now not an issue and I will be back over there very soon... PS If u wish to have a go at me by all means make some attempt but really I dont know why u need to.
