Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

Heaven Above Turns 4; It's Time to Party
yinzer replied to nutosf's topic in Bars/Gogos/Business Owners' Forum
Do you have any pics to post here or to your website from the party? Yinzer -
I feel your pain. All my miles are on US Airways also. However, I think they will clear bankruptcy. With that said though I plan on eventually switching to another airline once my status runs out. Best of luck on your trip. yinzer

Mini-Review: J.W. Marriott Bangkok
yinzer replied to Harvey's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
SoCalGuy, You are 100% correct. My bad. Yes there is a chance you might get a different hotel then the J.W. Marriott. Looking at the bboard I mentioned the 5 star properties you might get for the Sukhumvit area are: J.W. Marriott Sheraton Grande Westin I don't see reviews on the Sheraton or Westin on our forums so I have no idea how those rate (guest policy??). I don't know how representative the bboad (http://pub143.ezboard.com/bpricelineasiadiscussions) results are to actual results, but if you notice the majority of the results for 5 star hotels in the Sukhu -
Mini-Review: J.W. Marriott Bangkok
yinzer replied to Harvey's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Yes a $100+ a night can be expensive. However, there is an alternative. Priceline can be used to get the rooms closer to the $70 range. Yes that's still expensive, but if you really want to stay somewhere nice then this is a nice choice. I'm sure the money saved can be put to a good use. For help (a great board that gives you insight into how low a bid would be accepted) here is a link to a Priceline Asia discussion board. Just scroll down to Thailand....... http://pub143.ezboard.com/bpricelineasiadiscussions Yinzer -

next time you want to upgrade into business class or use miles for an award ticket, try using this website http://usr.v7.com/wpaa/ This will give you a good idea what legs are available. For trips to asia it's usually possible to get upgraded to Narita. The flights to and from Bangkok though are the hard parts to upgrade. Also if you haven't used it. Flyertalk.com is an invaluable resource for the frequent flyer. http://www.flyertalk.com/milesfr.shtml Yinzer
