Ah ! Those were the days ! when I could get drunk and get a Taxi home ! but unlike most of the bordies here I dont have the luxury of being able to just stick my hand out and get a bus or Taxi , As you can see from my pic , my drive home is on a little used mountain track , I am not a fan of DD this is just one of those things that happened ! , it's not big and it's not clever ! I fully understand the implications of Drinking and driving and it is not something I do normally ! this was just one of those occasions that escalate from one drink to a few more ! Hi Guys , just thought I would post these pics of a little incident that took place on my way home from the village Bar last night ! , This is what can happen when you have a badly loaded van , wet conditions , a steep hill and a belly full of ale ! . Amazingly when I went back to retreive my van the next moring with a group of freinds that helped me put it the right way up , it started first time and there was'nt a scratch on it ! , Who said french cars are crap ! So ,take my advice dont drive in the wet !!!

In Spain property prices are only falling in the south and around the Exspensive areas of Barcelona where there has for many years been an overbuild of over priced Villas and apartments , property prices in Rural areas are still on the increase and rose by a steady 6-7 % this year . As for buying property in Pattaya , well I have just bought a 2 bed house and a 50 % share in a Condo in Jomtiem and I am already looking at investing more money in the near future ! I think a good sign has to be the amount of Russians flooding the area with bag fulls of money to buy properties .

I Stayed at this Hotel last month , November 07 , It is only a 5 minute walk to Walking st , and yes your Gf will have to produce her Id on her first visit , O.k , compared to Lek and other places I have stayed this is not a cheap hotel , and it is´nt cheap either ! The rooms are of a very good size , very clean , modern and the staff can not be faulted , some of the freindliest people I have ever met ! , the only downside for me was the breakfast which was included in my price , I only tried it once and had to pay extra for my gf , which I did not mind but IMHO you can get a better buff
