Put yourself in the other guy's shoes and how would you feel about it? It is a definite no and if the other guy is an "ordinary joe" I would try and let him know what she is up to. Peter

I stayed in Residence Garden, practically Jomtien, last trip and spent several evenings there. It is much quieter, better beach, easier to chat and get to know people and some reasonable bars and massage places. However, standard of women is noticably lower and physical interaction in bars much less. Also, getting home late at night from Patts can be a pain. Peter

Many thanks guys, I have booked. One thing that worries me is that they want me to fax over details of my credit card and "photocopy of top & bottom of card" to pay deposit. Have you guys done that? It seems very risky. Peter

I'm thinking of staying here in a a super de luxe in the Evergreen tower from 1st October for a week. It works out at about 1800 baht per night. It is a good area, but I wonder whether it may be a bit noisy? Any views/recommendations? Peter
