Hello, Extending multiple entry visa. Can I do this before the initial 60 days run out? Wondering if I have to wait till the 60 days come to an end before going to immigration office to apply for 30 day extension. If I do this do I lose any days? If I do have to wait does anyone know if there is an immigration office in Phuket. I'm going down for a change of scenery and coming back to Pattaya mid June. Also, any suggestions for a good Phuket forum? If it exists then I'll posts my Q's there. Thanks. C.

From your opening post I get the impression that you like soi 8. My 1st time in Patts I stayed at Flipper Lodge. Never again. The hotel is fine but I tend to go to sleep between 3 and 6 am hence I sleep all day. My solution: I've stayed at LK Mansion LK Masion home page. Location: see site above It's quiet, the staff is friendly, joiners allowed, ID at reception up to you, rooftop pool, black out curtains!!! etc... Hello, Can someone please have a look what the exchange rate is at one of the money change offices. I use NAB bank and today they give 21.19 per dollar if I would take out money at an ATM when in Pattaya. Is the rate any better over there at the exchange office? I'm thinking of bringing a reasonable cash amount to cover me for the first few weeks. Thanks for the effort. C.

I just looked up the specs on my phone. Nokia 2630. Connectivity: Bluetooth v2.0, USB, GPRS Class 10 (48 kbps), EDGE Class 6 (177.6 kbps) I'm guessing this means I can use it to get a connection without needing a dongle. Is that correct? What about the speed? Will the mobile give enough to get the maximum from the ISP? It will take me a bit of tinkering to figure out how but I usually find my way. C.
