Well done the girl and indeed the guy for throwing a few quid back, both are quality people :) -
Of course it matters your reactions are dulled, you will take more chances and if there were a noise or clue of teh breakdown you may have neard it if not blotto, driving pissed will make anything worse, except the pain on the crash

Its a typo the I is next to the O , it can get keyed in error I have a mate who works in real estate here, he said some zoom phoned up asking to buy a condo, but he said "it must overlook a play ground" I dont think my mate was joking either
-
I am interested, how far do you cycle ? I know the place I looked at a condo there in April, is the bar inside the complex ? Thanks
-
Thong is if you buy now a decent gaff, you are saving £500 a month evey month in rent ? Sure you are lumping in some capital, but with rent you know you are toast !!!!

I have done the trip twice, apart from flight times which are not great its good Clark is 5 mins from the strip as it were, AC is ok apart from the food its appalling.

Not sure who is banned I am not, willing to bet what ever you want meet up and collect the money Never lat a fact get in the way of an argument

I have seen many reduced in price since last year, a guy paid 3.3 million for one the next door one same spec is no up for 2.7 mill... Why do you say not ? if the baht goes to 40 do you not think 48 is a good deal ?
-
Thats what I was trying to get over, there is an opportunuty for a seller and a buyer if the guy is looling to move money to the UK a UK could drop 20% and still take a profit. For sure not are all from UK , a Danish guy could not drop 30% he would be losing, any currency on its ass gives the vendor a chance to get out if he wanted. I guess a UK guy who bought 5 years could take a 20% hit and make a buck where a Danish lad could not
-
Yes I know that, I am saying the £ is shot and has got worse since the election the evidence I was using against the two properly managed countries shows the baht has gained 5% not 33%. The £ is shot end of story
-
Hence my view, if you spend more than you earn whether a person, a business a company sooner or later you are skint. Borrowing to invest os one thing, borrowing to throw away is not the way to financial stability , again you are spot on mate.

Nice

The Bank of England will raise interest rates in the next 4 months by .25% I think, back end of next year could see 2.00% base rate they just to stop wasting money on scroungers and muggy public sector clowns. (PS nice to see you are here mate)

Your view is like two people in a swamp, the drowning guy is thinking he is lucky he never got eat by the croc, 3 mins later he drowned. Benchmarking against people doing worse is not the way forward, as you stated the £ droped 11% then 2%, check the bahts value v the aussie $ or the Danish Krona over 5 years. The issue is the poor management of the UK 11% and 2% is proof of that, the two currencys above have seen a 5% decline the £ has shown a 33% decline , its the £ thats shot mate
-
I am talking v the baht You showed 11% in 6 then a further 2% since election mate, your figures how can you say no ?
-
Chris, prices have dropped from their peak in some places 30% others have dropped 5%, I agree buying if you intened to stay it gives you a hedge againts currency fluctuations on any rental place. As most of the farang owned places dont have a debt and if you lock and leave you pay peanuts people can wait, I must say paying 20-25k rent each month I dont find appealing, rent is dead money as to what happens when you buy will only be found out in the fullness of time. I know a guy bought in Markland for 1.4 mill 10 years ago, he could sell it tomorrow for 4 million and would b

Yes on top of that fall See how bad it is
-
You see the long term future unless change is made you are correct, sad for Uk but true I woul love to able to counter the view but I cant.
-
Thats a drop bigger tha 2% mate
-
Ok I will try to explain, a UK guy has bought a place for 3 million say, at 70 or 75 to the pound, the condo would have gone from say 3 million to 4 million in 5 or 6 years maybe more, however prices are down 30% he can afford to sell at 47 at less than the original price in £ and still show a profit. If people are not buying due to exchgange rates where property has risen inline with currency, there has been a correction in prices as the baht has got stronger, I think its a good time to buy but its just my view.
